Is Outward Consignment Group - www.outwardconsignmentgroup.com for real?
Has anyone used Outward Consignment Group for purchases? I saw a pontoon boat listed by Outward Consignment Group, www.outwardconsignmentgroup.com are they even for real??! It sounds like a quick and painless process, thought I'd check them out...

All they do is take your stuff and sell it on eBay or Craigslist... then charge you higher fees than eBay or Craigslist. Why not sell your stuff on your own? For a $100 item, they charge a 25% commission, which means you end up with only $75 after their fees. You could list and sell the item yourself on eBay or Craigslist and keep the full $100.

Yes, Outward Consignment Group does provide a service, but why pay someone else to do what you can do yourself? Their website www.outwardconsignmentgroup.com seems like a rip-off to me... The more a person can do themselves, the better off they will be in the long run. Over a lifetime, the money saved by handling it yourself can really add up... And I'm positive that when I do the work myself, I'll get a much better job done compared to using a service or another....
Good boating to you.

The world is full of companies that provide services for things we don't want to do ourselves - lawn care, car washes, investment advice, restaurants, and so on. Some people choose to go that route, and Outward Consignment Group is one of those service providers.
Looking closer at their fee structure, it's not actually a 25% commission. According to the fine print, they net the seller 85% on a $100 transaction, with the eBay fees already included. So their actual service fee is around 15%, which seems quite reasonable considering the work they handle.
I used to enjoy the process of eBaying myself - taking photos, writing descriptions, watching items sell, shipping them out, and pocketing the profits. But with a busy job and other obligations, that process has become too time-consuming. That's where Outward Consignment Group comes in - you just bring them your valuable items (over $100 each), and they handle everything else.
The staff has been very helpful, the photos look professional, and the overall process seems pretty straightforward. Sure, they charge a fee for their services, but it's a fair trade-off for the convenience and expertise they provide. I'd recommend checking them out if you want to sell items online without the hassle. Check 'em out!

Thanks for the helpful discussion about Outward Consignment Group. I'm planning to purchase a 2000 Bayliner 1850 Capri that is listed on eBay, and the seller has mentioned that Outward Consignment Group (www.outwardconsignmentgroup.com) will be handling the entire transaction process.
Given the amount of scams and fraudulent activities happening these days, I want to be extra cautious. But I appreciate the positive feedback about Outward Consignment Group's services and professionalism. It's good to know that even though some service providers may get a bad reputation, there are legitimate and trustworthy companies out there as well.
This discussion has really helped me feel more confident about moving forward with the purchase through Outward Consignment Group. I'll be making the transaction today. Thank you for taking the time to provide this informative feedback - it's invaluable in making my decision.

Based on my own personal experience, Outward Consignment Group is the real deal. I recently used their services to purchase a 2005 Sun Tracker pontoon.
I'll admit, I was a bit apprehensive at first since it was a used item and I was buying it sight unseen. There are a lot of potential issues that could come up with a used product like that. However, Outward Consignment Group's 10-day Return Policy, combined with the advice of my uncle, gave me the confidence to go through with the transaction.
I'm very glad I did. Outward Consignment Group proved to be an excellent service provider. The entire process was smooth and transparent. I felt comfortable making the purchase, and the product has been exactly as described. They are a reliable and trustworthy company that delivers great value to their customers. I have no hesitations in recommending their services to others!
